In the legendary 'No. 1 Vault', the old stone vault on the edge of Loch Indaal, the magical character of Islay and centuries-old traditions combine to create a single malt whiskey with a complex balance, mild Islay smokiness, maritime minerality and an abundance of fresh stone fruit aromas.The Bowmore FIFTEEN YEARS OLD is an Islay single malt, which is a perfect example of a sherry cask finish.
It is first matured in bourbon casks, but for the last three years in oloroso sherry casks, which this one Scotch Whiskey gives it its deep color and robust, warming finish.

Nose: Smoky, notes of dark chocolate, raisins.
Flavour: Spicy, toffee, sherry, barley, cedarwood.Finish: Long-lasting.
