For this special edition of Ardnahoe 6 Years Old Small Batch, three first-fill bourbon casks were selected and bottled in collaboration with the team behind the YouTube project Aquavitae, resulting in a limited series of only 762 bottles.

What does Ardnahoe 6 Years Old «Small Batch» Exclusively for Aquavitae Single Malt Whisky taste like? Notes of pineapple and dough are perceptible, along with a hint of industrial atmosphere with metallic nuances and a touch of lemonade. Overall, the bouquet is still youthful, yet clear and pleasant. On the palate, peat is immediately prominent, dominated by smoked meat, accompanied by a touch of iodine, bacon, and mineral notes. Herbs, lemon zest, and fresh mint complete the picture. With the second sip, citrus fruits and sweet-and-sour apples emerge, but the dominant impression remains the intense peat smoke. The finish is powerful with chili and lemon, sweet peat and charcoal, accompanied by maritime notes reminiscent of seafood. Anise, mineral tones, and hints of grilled food round out the finish.
