The Royal Cane Cask Company Bellevue 24 Years is a single cask rum from the Bellevue distillery in Guadeloupe. A pot still rum distilled from molasses in 1998, aged an impressive 24 years in American white oak casks, the first seven of which were aged in a tropical climate, before crossing the Atlantic to complete its aging in Liverpool in 2005. It was bottled by The Royal Cane Cask Company in 2022 at 51.5% ABV, with a yield of just 265 bottles. Expect a rich, floral, lemony rum with molasses character and a hint of smoke.
No Solera process, but 0.7 liters of real 24 years of barrel aging!
