This molasses-based rum is distilled in the Savanna distillery in a double wooden pot still, which gives it a special depth. After distillation, it first matures in cognac barrels and is finished in refill Oloroso sherry casks, which gives it additional complexity. Without the addition of coloring or sugar, it remains natural. The limited edition of 1,278 bottles makes it particularly interesting for collectors and connoisseurs.

What does the 16-year-old Savanna rum taste like?

This rum from La Réunion impresses on the nose with an intense, sweet aroma, which is underlined by spicy notes and a hint of coffee. It tastes just as sweet, with clear hints of coffee, burnt sugar and a subtle spice. The finish is long-lasting and leaves a lasting impression on the palate.
