The exclusive Ratu Lautoka 16 Years Dark Fiji Rum is a limited special edition aimed at connoisseurs and collectors. It is aged for at least 16 years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks. Part of the rum is refined for 6 months in 30-year-old Muscat wine barrels. The result is an intense, complex rum with fruity notes of dried fruit, smoky oak and gentle spice.
The product, with its dark reddish amber hue, offers an aroma and flavor of remarkable depth and complexity. A whiff of whiskey comes to mind. Ratu Lautoka 16 Year Old Dark Rum is best enjoyed neat and unmixed to bring out its rich and complex nuances.
