The Penny Blue 2009 Single Sherry Cask No. 203 Mauritian Rum is a strictly limited single estate rum that comes from the Medine Distillery based on the island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean. As is usual with Penny Blue rums, this rum was also made exclusively from sugar cane from the company's own plantation. It was distilled in 2009 from high-quality molasses after careful fermentation in the column still process and then stored for around 12 to 13 years in a former whiskey barrel with the number 203. The bottling took place without cold filtration and the addition of coloring with a total of only 132 bottles.
