O.V.D. stands for Old Vatted Demerara, a unique rum blend produced exclusively in the Demerara region of Guyana. The rum is distilled in a traditional wooden Coffey still from high-quality molasses, giving it an unmistakable depth and complexity. After distillation, it is carefully blended and bottled in Glasgow. This classic dark rum has achieved almost cult status and impresses with its full-bodied, creamy aromas that make it an essential treat for rum lovers. What does O:V:D: Demerara Rum taste like?

Buttery, toffee-rich aromas unfold on the nose, accompanied by dried fruit peel, oak and stone fruits.

On the palate, the rum presents itself with a syrupy, buttery texture accompanied by sweet coffee and banana candy.

The finish is medium long and ends with a sparkling spice that lingers gently on the palate.
