How does the New Yarmouth 26 Year Old 1994 Cask #435043 taste?
The nose presents a creamy, musky tropical pot de crème. The palate reveals dark caramel and oranges, accompanied by creamy notes of tropical forests, figs, baking spices and some drying redwood. On the finish, this rum shows a sweeter note as the tannins fade, offering a final hint of dark berry tart. A well balanced wine, incredibly aged in tropical conditions given its age.
