With the exclusive Mount Gay Andean Oak Cask, the traditional Mount Gay Distillery from the Caribbean island of Barbados presents the fourth release in the strictly limited Master Blender Collection. For the high-quality rum, master blender Trudiann Branker selected fresh Andean oak casks for the finish, which were rarely used for aging spirits and were used for the first time by the Mount Gay distillery. The molasses rum, distilled twice in pot stills, was allowed to spend 11 months in the rare Andean Oak Casks after 14 years of maturation in former bourbon casks.

The Mount Gay Andean Oak Cask Rum from the Caribbean is characterized by it its extraordinary taste, which rum lovers should not miss. Finished in Virgin Andean Oak Casks, the rum impresses as soon as you pour it with its amber color with golden reflections. He shows seductive notes of vanilla, candied fruit and flowers in the nose. On the palate, the Barbados rum is harmonious and multifaceted. It comes up with aromas of spices, nutmeg, almonds, fruits and spicy oak, while being opulent and round.

The bottling is not chill-filtered.
