Mhoba Rum Pot Stilled High Ester Rum is an intense and aromatic white rum made from the juice of Nkomazi sugar cane, which grows on the Mhoba Sugar Estate near the small village of Malalane in South Africa.

The rum impresses on the nose with tropical fruits and herbal aromas, complemented by nuances of star fruit, fruit and pepper. The taste is full-bodied with earthy notes, black pepper, fruity accents, cream and citrus fruits. The finish is long-lasting and peppery.

What is special about Mhoba High Ester Rum?
The fermentation time was a full 22 days and the addition of 30% sugar cane juice, so-called dunder, creates a rum with a high ester content and a strong taste.
