This amber colored rum from Nicaragua is aged in oak barrels for at least 12 years.
It is extremely soft, very fine and mild in aroma. With the permission of the strict US government authority, Flor de Caña can bear the label SLOW AGED (slowly aged).

SLOW AGED describes the natural, unaccelerated maturing process in oak barrels. This award stands for the highest quality. Flor de Caña is the only rum brand to hold this distinction.

Colour: Light amber with mahogany accents.
Nose: Spicy, nutty, mild, notes of coconut, hint of banana.
Flavour: Gentle, soft, strong, notes of oak , vanilla, hint of fruit, chilli.
Finish: Long-lasting, balanced.
