According to the bottler Aficionados x Fine Drams, this rum was not bottled in September 2021 as stated on the label, but only in April 2023. The pandemic was the reason for this delay. The rum is actually 29 years old.

How does the Clarendon EMB 26 Year Old 1994 Cask #433946 taste?
On the nose, this rum presents a woody scent of exotic dark woods, orange peel and slightly medicinal. A strong, dry Curacao note develops on the palate, accompanied by a slight sweetness, as well as honeydew melon and earthy dry spices. This leads to a finish of fruity rubber and plenty of cedar and redwood dusting of dry spices. The pleasantly round mouthfeel balances the tannins that have accumulated during such long aging in the tropics.
