This 13-year-old rum was distilled in 2006 and then aged in ex-bourbon casks. It is a single cask bottling at cask strength. The barrel was filled for the 30th anniversary of Charles Hofer SA and produced 286 bottles.

In contrast to the well-known Original Blend from Chairman's, in which rums from the various pot and column stills of Saint Lucia Distillers are married, This rum was distilled exclusively in the Vendome Pot Still. The Vendome Pot Still was commissioned in 2003 and originally comes from Trinidad Distillers Ltd. (Angostura). It is a copper still on which a copper column with eight plates is placed.
