This noble Caroni Rum was distilled in 1998 on Caroni`s large column still.
Caroni produced extremely heavy rums and was an important part of British `Navy Rum`. Bottled at cask strength.

Nose: Old wine cellar, wax crayons, a humidor full of cigars, pears, bandages and ointment. Taste: very oily but velvety, tobacco, milk chocolate, pears, wood spices, some machine oil, maple syrup. Finish: spicy (cinnamon), again some tobacco, gum and again some medicinal notes.
