Berry Bros. & Rudd traces its roots back to 1698, to this day it is a family business and still managed and managed from the same historic premises at 3 St James's Street.
The Barbados Rum is from the Foursquare Distillery. Sugar cane has been cultivated on the island of Barbados, also known as the birthplace of rum, for over 350 years. This rum is 10-11 years old and based on molasses. The distillation takes place in pot stills as well as in column stills and this rum is finished in Sauternes hogsheads.
The rum is neither chill-filtered nor colored or sweetened.
