The AH Riise Distillery is located on St. Thomas Island, an American Virgin Island in the Caribbean. Before this island became American territory, it was a Danish colony. The pharmacist Albert Heinrich was not only allowed to open a pharmacy around the 1840s, but also to produce alcohol.

The AH Riise XO Reserve Superior Cask Rum Spirit Drink is made from several types of rum mixed together. Only rums are used that have previously been stored and matured in wooden barrels for up to 20 years, as well as rum from younger barrels. The house master blender uses it to create a wonderfully well-rounded soft spirit.
