The AH Riise Distillery is located on St. Thomas Island, an American Virgin Island in the Caribbean. Before this island became American territory, it was a Danish colony. The pharmacist Albert Heinrich was not only allowed to open a pharmacy around the 1840s, but also to produce alcohol.
The AH Riise SIGNATURE Master Blender Collection is unique. The name of the master blender can be found under each bottle. There are fewer than 2,000 bottles of each edition.
The best rums from different casks of different origins with different degrees of maturity are used for the production. The barrels are not completely emptied - the last residue remains in the barrel and gives the blend a special taste.
