The AH Riise Distillery is located on St. Thomas Island, an American Virgin Island in the Caribbean. Before this island became American territory, it was a Danish colony.

The pharmacist Albert Heinrich was not only allowed to open a pharmacy around the 1840s, but also to produce alcohol.

The AH Riise Royal Danish Navy FROGMAN Rum, as the name already suggests dedicated to the 'Frogman' (combat swimmer).

This blend consists of up to 20 year old rum distillations, which are made from molasses.

It is distilled using the traditional pot still method, bottling takes place without chill filtration and without the addition of caramel and at cask strength.
Limited to 2,000 bottles!


Nose: Unusually light, mocha, notes of balsamic vinegar, orange zest, hint of toast.
Flavour: Notes of coffee aromas, citrus fruits, pineapple, coconuts.
Finish : Long lasting, creamy, notes of dark chocolate, mocha.
