The AH Riise Distillery is located on St. Thomas Island, an American Virgin Island in the Caribbean.
Before this island became American territory, it was a Danish colony.

The pharmacist Albert Heinrich was not only allowed to open a pharmacy around the 1840s, but also to produce alcohol.

The term 'Non Plus Ultra' comes from Roman mythology. The Pillars of Heracles, built near the Strait of Gibraltar, mark the boundary of the end of the world. This spirit drink honors nothing other than the term 'no more/'nothing more'.

For the production of the AH Riise Non Plus Ultra Very Rare only the best and oldest rums from the stock of AH Riise used. The Master Distiller personally ensures the high quality. Only 3,000 bottles are made by hand each year.
Nose: Oranges, tobacco, caramel, notes of sherry and vanilla.
Flavour: Notes of tobacco, sherry.
Finish: Long lasting.
