The word 'ETSU' means 'pleasure'.
Etsu Pacific Ocean Water Gin is distilled at the Asahikawa Distillery in Hokkaido. Hokkaido is the second largest of the archipelago's four main islands, but the second least populated. It is north of Honshu Island, from which it is separated by the Tsugaru Strait.
It is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean to the east, the Sea of Japan to the west and the Sea of Okhotsk to the north. In the Meiji era (1868-1912) the island was given its current name: Hokkaido, which means 'the road to the North Sea'.
Fresh mountain spring water and seawater from the Sea of Japan are added to carefully selected botanicals such as juniper berries, bitter orange peel, licorice root, angelica root and coriander to create this unique gin that captures the Japanese coastline in a bottle.

The limited edition impresses with an artistic bottle and is a tribute to Japanese culture - ideal for cocktails or with tonic.
