The word 'ETSU' means 'pleasure'.
The Double Yuzu Gin is distilled in the Akita Distillery in the Japanese prefecture of Akita on the island of Honshu. Located on the coast of the Sea of Japan, Akita Prefecture stretches east of the Ou Mountains, the longest mountain range in Japan.
Etsu Double Yuzu gets its fresh and bright aromas from these mountains. Etsu Yuzu Gin is macerated for seven days using traditional botanicals such as Japanese yuzu, juniper berries, licorice root, angelica, coriander and matcha.
After maceration, only the gin is distilled without the botanicals, allowing the oils to develop can. Only after the distillation is fresh water from the mountains added, which gives the gin its fresh taste.
Etsu Double Yuzu Gin is fresh with citrus notes and uses natural ingredients that give the gin a unique and light finish.
