This Teeling Whiskey was inspired by the old Blackpitts area which is just behind the new location of the Teeling Whiskey Distillery.
This area, right in the heart of Dublin, used to be and still is home to malting houses and barley malting houses.
Peat smoke was also used to dry the barley. This addition produces a characteristic grilled smoke.
Both ex-bourbon casks and ex-Sauternes white wine casks are used to mature this whiskey.

Colour: amber.
Nose: Smoky, BBQ notes, butterscotch, oranges.
Flavour: Fresh apples, smoky, spicy, pineapple.
Finish : Long lasting, Caramel, Wood, Smoke.
