How does the Linkwood 12 Years Flora & Fauna taste?

The nose reveals fresh and delicate fruit aromas, accompanied by a hint of vanilla as well as subtle nuances of cigars, lavender, smoky elements and the warm scent of cedar wood.
The taste presents a full-bodied and gentle experience with a pleasant sweetness and a refreshing, slightly sour note. Juicy green aromas dominate, and subtle hints of dried orange peel can be found in the background.

How did the “Flora & Fauna” series come about?

The Flora and Fauna series, lovingly created by whiskey author Michael Jackson, was a thematic collection of single malt whiskey bottlings released exclusively by the distilleries themselves. Each distillery represented a specific creature, which was elegantly immortalized on the attractively designed labels of each bottle.

Over the years and due to commercial changes such as closures or sales, the offering of the Flora and Fauna series has shrunk. This meant that the few remaining bottles became sought-after collector's items
