The Barceló Imperial Onyx is stored in white American oak barrels that are heavily toasted. The casks are carefully selected by the Master Cooper. The filtration is done with the help of onyx stones, which also give the rum its name.



Onyx stones are black healing stones commonly found in Brazil, India, Madagascar, Mexico and the United States.

Color: Gold.

Nose: Robust, powerful, well-structured body.

Flavour: Intense, cherries, coffee, dried fruits, vanilla, oak.

Finish: Long-lasting.
